Wenger ready to do everything to sign mbappe

Arsene Wenger is ready to do absolutely everything he can to try and bring Kylian Mbappe to Arsenal this summer, according to French newspaper L’Equipe.

The Gunners have already reportedly had a huge €100 million offer for the Monaco starlet turned down but remain keen on the France international.

Wenger and Ivan Gazidis have also been spotted in the south of France recently as speculation with regards Mbappe’s future goes into overdrive.

Arsenal are just one of several clubs being linked with the youngster who is also believed to have attracted interest from Real Madrid and just about every other top club in Europe.

For his part, Mbappe has said he wants to play regular football and is not willing to move to a big club just to sit on the bench.

The latest report now states that while Wenger is desperate to land Mbappe he does realise the club’s chances are slim but remains committed to the effort.

The Gunners boss is also aware that the lack of Champions League football could hurt their chances of landing Mbappe but is still determined to try.

Wenger at least seems realistic about the club’s chances with today’s report also claiming PSG have become the latest club to join the race for the striker.
